NXT has been careful not to over expose him, for awhile just teasing his presence. When he finally debuted, they made sure his matches were occasional, ensuring they’d feel special every time. And with that superb entrance, they always feel special. This week was one of his matches and once again, they nailed it. Dominik Dijakovic was the perfect opponent for Kross right now. Annie Ross, the dexterous jazz singer and leading practitioner of the art of "vocalese" heard on her signature song, "Twisted," has died. She was 89. Ross died Tuesday at her home in Manhattan of complications from emphysema and heart disease, her former manager, Jim Coleman, told The Washington Post. Ross performed with fellow vocalists Dave Lambert and Jon Hendricks in the acclaimed jazz trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross from 1957 to 1962. They made dozens of instrumental classics their own and recorded several albums, starting with 1957's Sing a Song of Basie, which employed overdubs to multiply their voices. Demitra “Mimi” Roche, who appeared on the Oxygen reality show “Bad Girls Club,” has died. She was 34. Roche’s colleague, record producer Vince Valholla, announced her death via Twitter on Wednesday. Valholla is the founder of Valholla Entertainment in Miami, Fla., where Roche had worked as vice president of A&R since 2011. “I’m at a loss for words. Don’t know what to say,” Valholla wrote in his post. “Mimi was kind to everyone she came across. She was [a] big dreamer and was a part of our Valholla family. I’m heartbroken by the news of her passing. I’m thankful I got to know and work with her.
