Amanda Kloots is providing the world an update on the health of her husband, Nick Cordero. The fitness maven, who shares a 1-year-old son with Cordero, recently said the Broadway star will likely need a double lung transplant in order to recover from the complications of the coronavirus. The backlash against The Rise of Skywalker has begun. In other words, some Star Wars fans have started to mount a defense of the movie and rehabilitate its reputation as a disappointment that failed to stick the landing.  Episode IX of the Skywalker saga made a great deal of money, as most Star Wars movies do, and it didn’t receive the degree of fan vitriol hurled at 2017’s The Last Jedi. However, there has been an air of disappointment about it, a feeling that it wasn’t as good as it could or should have been. Byron “Reckful” Bernstein, a popular video game streamer on Twitch, has died, according to social media posts from his ex-girlfriends and brother. He was 31. According to Blue Madrigal, his ex-girlfriend and one of the people who initially confirmed his death on social media, Berstein died by suicide. Bernstein went by the name Reckful on Twitch, where he was best known for his “World of Warcraft” streams and had over 936,000 followers. Most recently, Bernstein had been working as a developer on his own video game, “Everland,” which was set to release later this year. Bernstein raised concerns early Thursday morning with a series of tweets, one in which he appears to have proposed to his ex-girlfriend Becca Cho. SAG-AFTRA has told told its members to refuse work on the pandemic thriller “Songbird,” produced by Michael Bay. “Songbird” had been announced in mid-May as a low-budget production that would shoot in Los Angeles. The performers union announced the “do not work” order on Thursday for production company On A Lark Productions LLC. It said the company had failed to complete the signatory process and is therefore not signed to any applicable SAG-AFTRA agreement.
