Thandie Newton had revealed what made her pass on starring in "Charlie's Angels." The "Westworld" star, 47, opened up to Vulture recently, where she discussed encounters she had with the film's director Joseph McGinty Nichol -- also known as McG -- and Amy Pascal, the then-head of Sony Pictures, who distributed the film. With the coronavirus spiking in a number of states, a group of Texas doctors has released a ranked list on how risky certain activities are when it comes to contracting COVID-19. The Texas Medical Association’s COVID-19 Task Force and Committee on Infectious Diseases ranked 37 activities on a scale of 1-10. Opening the mail? The lowest risk activity, with a score of 1. Going to a bar? High risk – scoring a 9. Coronavirus can lead to neurological complications, including delirium, brain inflammation, stroke and nerve damage, a new University College London (UCL) study published Tuesday in the journal Brain finds. While respiratory symptoms are commonly associated with coronavirus, for some patients in the study, neurological complications were the first and most significant indication that they had contracted the virus. Of 43 confirmed or suspected Covid-19 patients at the University College London Hospital, researchers identified 10 with delirium, 12 with brain inflammation, eight with cases of stroke and eight with nerve damage.
