Armie Hammer has been dropped by his agency WME amid his “cannibal” scandal, sources have confirmed to Page Six.
The Hollywood Reporter initially reported the news.
The “Call Me By Your Name” actor has already left various projects over graphic messages he allegedly sent several women over social media.
Last week, Hammer, 34, exited “The Offer,” a series about the making of “The Godfather.” Before that, he was forced to resign from “Shotgun Wedding,” starring Jennifer Lopez. Josh Duhamel has since replaced him in the movie.
A host of women have come forward to make claims that Hammer told them he wanted to eat their flesh during sexual encounters.
Initially, a woman who said she had an affair with Hammer posted messages to a website, followed by other women who came forward. This week, Paige Lorenze posted alleged messages from Hammer where he told her he wanted her to be his “little slave”.
Hammer has denied all the allegations.
He has spoken out only after leaving “Shotgun,” saying in a statement, “I’m not responding to these bulls–t claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this, and I’m grateful to them.’
A rep for Hammer didn’t immediately comment.
