Larry Birkhead paid tribute to showbiz legend Anna Nicole Smith on the 15th anniversary of her passing.

Birkhead, 49, posted a black-and-white photo of him cuddling Anna as he remembered the model and mother of their daughter Dannielynn Birkhead, 15.

‘Still remembering this one 15 years after her death. She was truly one of a kind. She struggled for love and acceptance. Just when she found a little piece of one or the other, life seemed to sabotage,’ he captioned the photo, posted Tuesday.

‘Today, I remember your heart, your soul and your beauty, both inside and out. Your love is alive still to this day, in the form of a truly one of a kind teenager with her Mom’s smile, beauty and courage. Thanks to Anna’s fans for helping keep her memory alive. We love you Anna Nicole.’

He ended the post with the hashtags #annanicolesmith, #loveisalive and #ifmomcouldseeyounow and tagged himself and Smith’s estate in the image.

Smith was just 39 when she died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in February 8, 2007 in a Hollywood, Florida hotel room.

She was survived by her daughter Dannielynn Birkhead.

Her son Daniel died in September 2006 at age 20 of an accidental drug overdose in the Bahamas just three days after Dannielynn was born.

Birkhead filed a paternity case after Dannielynn’s birth and a DNA test confirmed that he was her father.

Smith rose to fame as a nude model for Playboy then became a model for Guess. She also starred in movies such as Naked Gun 33 and Skyscraper.

She later starred in her own E! reality series The Anna Nicole Show.

Smith, born name Vickie Lynn Hogan, married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II in 1994 after she met him while performing at a strip club.

On Monday, Deadline reported a new movie about the pin-up was in the works.

The film is called Hurricanna and is set to cover the end of her life when her therapist (played by Holly Hunter) tried to save her life but then by accident helped spell her doom.

Netflix will also be releasing a documentary examining her rise to fame and tragic death. The untitled film from director Ursula Macfarlane will feature never-before-seen footage of Smith from a previously unreleased documentary.
