Britney Spears treated fans to one of her signature Instagram fashion shows on Tuesday following the announcement of her third pregnancy, first with fiancé Sam Asghari.
“So I have to model my clothes now before I really start showing 🤰🏼…” the superstar, 40, captioned a one-minute video of herself trying on several outfits as a remix of Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants” plays.
The lyrics to the ‘90s hit include, “All that she wants is another baby.” Spears is known to be a longtime fan of the tune and even sampled it in an unreleased track of the same name in the mid-aughts.
For her latest social media post, Spears accessorized one ensemble — comprised of gray slacks and a floral crop top — with a pink flower choker inspired by Sarah Jessica Parker. “I had to do the flower 🌸 on my neck like @sarahjessicaparker …” she added.
The “Lucky” singer noted that her “small belly” is visible in her array of midriff-baring getups.
“but at least my pants 👖 fit 😬😬😬😬😬😬 … Well barely 😅🤷🏼♀️ !!!” she continued. “Psss is anyone curious why I’m 4 sizes smaller by the door 🧐🧐🧐😉 ???”
The pop icon’s dream of having another child is finally coming true after she was allegedly unable to do so throughout her nearly 14-year conservatorship.
The singer — who shares sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline — previously claimed in an explosive court testimony in June 2021 that her estranged father and former conservator, Jamie Spears, forced her to have an IUD contraceptive inserted against her will.
Shortly after the lengthy legal arrangement was terminated in November 2021, Britney told her fans on Instagram, “I’m thinking about having another baby !!! I wonder if this one is a girl … she’s on her toes reaching for something … that’s for sure !!!!”
Days before the Grammy winner announced that she is expecting again, her husband-to-be, Asghari, 28, told BBC Persian that he feels the pregnancy should have happened a lot sooner.
“Yeah, I mean, this should have happened three years ago, to be honest with you,” said the actor, who proposed to Britney in September 2021 after nearly five years of dating.
“When you’re in a relationship with someone that you’re truly in love with,” he added, “you want to recreate.”
