LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse County COVID-19 Outbreaks and Investigations page added five establishments to the high-risk category and one to the low-risk group Wednesday.
New high-risk locations, and times when people might have been exposed, include:
• Iron Physique Gym in La Crosse, 7 to 10 a.m. July 16.
• Jimmy’s North Star in La Crosse, July 16-18.
• Starlight Lounge in La Crosse, 6-7:30 p.m. July 16.
• Milwaukee Burger Company in La Crosse, July 22 and 23.
• Red Lobster in La Crosse, July 22.
Those who have had high-risk exposure should complete the Risk Screening and Referral Form on the COVID-19 page.
New to the low-risk list is Boost Mobile in La Crosse, from 4:30 to 4 p.m. July 18.
Establishments remain on the list for 14 days after the last known positive case was present. Just because an establishment appears on the page does not necessarily mean they did something wrong — nor does appearing on the page always mean that the establishment should be closed.
The La Crosse County Health Department reported nine new lab-confirmed cases Wednesday, pushing the country total to 767. Of those, 650 cases are considered recovered, five are hospitalized and one La Crosse County resident has died.
The overall positive tests stand at 4.5%.
Today’s demographics are two 30-39 females, three 20-29 males, two 20-29 females and two 60-69 females.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported that 16,288 negative tests have been completed in La Crosse County, including 191 since Tuesday.
