Jack Antonoff Reveals His Favorite Songs on Taylor Swifts Folklore Ahead of Release – Billboard

While fans were expecting a “Cruel Summer” due to the ongoing pandemic, Taylor Swift came in with the surprise of the season by announcing that her eighth studio album, Folklore, will be arriving at midnight on Friday (July 24).

In her announcement, Swift revealed that the album was made in collaboration with a number of her “musical heroes,” including someone she considers “basically musical family at this point,” Jack Antonoff.

Antonoff is equally excited for the release, and took to Twitter on Thursday (July 23) to explain that the songs “August” and “Tears Ricochet” are “my favorite things we’ve done together.” And that’s saying a lot, because the two have made a ton of incredible music together.

“cannot wait for everyone to hear this beautiful work- more soon …..” he continued, before shouting out Aaron Dessner, who co-wrote and produced 11 of Folklore‘s 16 songs. “i love you and you are so brilliant. one day we will be in the same room,” Antonoff wrote.
