Big Es next feud begins, big WWE Draft switch hinted at during Monday Night Raw – Wrestling News

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw closed out with a steel cage match between WWE Champion Big E and Bobby Lashley.

Big E and Lashley wrestled earlier in the show but the match was thrown out after a brawl broke out between The New Day and the reunited Hurt Business. The cage match was announced to keep wrestlers from interfering.

Despite the promise that there would be no interference, members of The New Day and The Hurt Business got involved at ringside and Kingston did a trust fall off the side of the cage onto Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

Later in the match, Big E retained his title after hitting the Big Ending of the second rope. After the match, Drew McIntyre walked out with his sword and he stared down Big E so it’s clear that Big E is now moving onto his next feud.

As for Lashley, based on Vince McMahon’s track record, wrestlers are usually jobbed out before they move to a different brand because the mindset is that fans will forget his recent losses and he would get a fresh start on a new brand. It looks like Lashley may be moving to SmackDown in the WWE Draft.
