There was a heel turn at the end of WWE Friday Night SmackDown that will set up a match for SummerSlam.
As noted earlier, Sasha Banks made her return to WWE TV during a segment that saw SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair being attacked by Carmella and Zelina Vega. Banks saved Belair and that led to the tag team match being made for the end of the show.
Banks won the match for her team by forcing Carmella to submit. During the celebration, Banks hit Belair with the backstabber and she continued to attack her while mocking her with the SmackDown Women’s Championship. So it looks like Banks vs. Belair for SummerSlam. The show ended with Banks celebrating with the title after putting Belair in the Banks statement.
