Kim Kardashian brought her law school studies out for a breath of fresh air this week.
More from Footwear News
The media mogul, who is currently studying to become a lawyer, showed off her unconventional school attire on Thursday. Sitting outside, Kim modeled a beige string bikini accented by a printed headscarf and retro-chic sunglasses.
Headscarves are about to be everywhere this season amidst a revitalization of early 2000s trends. Spotted decades ago on the likes of Hilary Duff, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez and even Chistina Aguilera, bandanas and tied-up hair scarves offer the perfect solution to a bad day while still staying en vogue this spring.
To round out her bold outfit combination, Kim Kardashian herself broke out a pair of shoes sneakers from Kanye West’s line. The Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner in the “Ararat” colorway first launched with a $75 retail price tag during a surprise drop in June 2020. With comparisons drawn to Crocs’ classic clogs, the one-of-a-kind silhouette became a highly anticipated shoe thanks to its never-before-seen details and striking divergence from typical sneaker creations.
Formed from a harvested algae foam, the aerodynamic shoes first released in just one colorway before dropping new iterations including Kim’s “Moon Grey” choice back in March. The unique shoe now resells for upwards of $535 at StockX.com.
When it comes to her personal style, Kim’s standout outfit today is just one of many wild combinations in the television personality‘s closet. Despite the recent news of their filing for divorce, Kim still favors Kanye West’s Yeezy collections for footwear and apparel as well, in addition to sneakers and boots from his Adidas Yeezy line. She styles the pieces with coordinating looks from every hit brand you can think of — the list usually includes Balmain, Balenciaga, Amina Muaddi, Maison Margiela and Bottega Veneta.
In addition to stylish looks on and off the set of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim also dipped her toes into the fashion and beauty world with a mix of ventures. She created her Skims shapewear line in 2019, featuring a mix of inclusive designs and now affordable face masks too. Additionally, the media personality also founded her own makeup line, KKW Beauty, in the fall of 2019.
