While a good chunk of office workers continue to work remotely, we can turn to TV and movies about work life to capture a sense of normalcy and reflect on the yesterdays of office life.
Apple TV Plus’ Mythic Quest, which follows a fictional game development studio working on its latest expansion, invites us to remember the little details of work. The first trailer for the second season is full of meetings in glass-paneled rooms, team-building fist bumps, and … paperwork! Snoop Dogg is also there, because, of course he is. It’s all fun and games till deadlines start approaching and the team needs to work under pressure.
The first season of Mythic Quest (subtitled Raven’s Banquet) premiered in February 2020. It stars It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Rob McElhenney as the creative director of Mythic Quest Studios, along with Ashly Burch, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, and F. Murray Abraham.
Mythic Quest returns to Apple TV Plus on May 17.
