2,292 new COVID-19 cases, 21 additional deaths reported in Mass. – WCVB Boston

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 2,292 confirmed COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 611,825 since the start of the pandemic. State health officials also added 21 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state’s total, which is now 17,014. So far, a total of 4.91 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to Massachusetts, of which 83.8% have been administered.
