1,495 COVID-19 cases, 52 additional deaths reported in Mass. – WCVB Boston

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 1,495 confirmed COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 557,802 since the start of the pandemic. State health officials also added 52 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state’s total, which is now 16,044.As of Saturday, a total of 2,428,550 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to the state, of which 2,005,800 — or 85.2% — have been administered.
