Weis Markets says it has been able to get a supply of the COVID-19 vaccine and there are 20 stores in central Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna Valley that will start giving the shots on Thursday, Jan. 21.Weis will be using the Moderna vaccine. The stores are giving priority to health care workers, people 65 and older and also those 16 to 64 with high-risk conditions, such as cancer, chronic kidney disease, Down Syndrome and diabetes.How to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at WeisWeis has set up a system for scheduling vaccine appointments in advance.
