Over the weekend, the alt-pop singer, songwriter, and producer took to her Instagram story to reveal that she had “finally” tested positive for COVID-19.
In the post, Grimes revealed her diagnosis while also disclosing that she was “Weirdly enjoying the DayQuil fever dream.”
Although Grimes didn’t disclose how she contracted the virus or whether her partner Elon Musk or their child, X AE A-XII, were affected by her diagnosis, this possibly isn’t their family’s first experience with COVID-19 during the pandemic.
Back in November of 2020, Musk disclosed that he “most likely” had COVID-19 after receiving varying results from multiple tests.
Back then, Musk said “DayQuil rocks” when detailing his symptoms — so it seems like he and Grimes took similar paths to recovery.
