“Neither one of us did anything to each other,” he said during an episode of his podcast. “She’s always been honest with me. I’ve always been honest with her. We’ve had an amazing relationship.”
He went on to reference Fox’s new relationship, saying he had “never met” Machine Gun Kelly, but that he “trusts her judgment.”
“She’s always had really good judgment,” Green said. “It’s really important to me that people don’t treat anyone like a villain or a victim in this situation.”
“She’s been my best friend for 15 years, and I don’t want to lose that…” he concluded. “Who knows if this is the end of the journey… I will always love her, and I know she will always love me, and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.”
