A person who visited a Pittsford bar last week has tested positive for COVID-19 and the Monroe County Department of Health is asking anyone who patronized the tequilaria at the same time to immediately self-quarantine.
The county is urging anyone who attended BluHorn Tequilaria, 9 Main St. in the village, on Friday, Oct. 16 between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. to contact the health department hotline at (585) 753-5555 or COVID19@monroecounty.gov.
The customer was closer than six feet to others for an extended time without wearing a mask, according to a press release from the health department.
Anyone at the bar during that time should self-quarantine and get tested for COVID-19, the health department said, adding:
“They should also be alert for symptoms of COVID-19, including fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. These symptoms may occur up to 14 days after contact with the infected individual. If any of these symptoms appear, individuals should consult with their primary care provider.”
