Health officials said 19 of the newly announced cases were from antigen tests. The rapid tests had not previously been included in New Hampshire’s positive case totals because positive results had to then be confirmed by a standard PCR test.

Now that the tests are becoming more widely used in the state, those positive results will now be included in the totals.

Friday’s figures also include 22 cases that were delayed results from a single lab. The delayed results are not included in the state’s active case counts or positivity rate, health officials said.
