90 Day Fiance’s Karine Martins says she and her one-year-old son Pierre are alright after she left the home of husband Paul Staehle and was granted an emergency protective order against him.
‘I want you all to know that me and Pierre are doing well now,’ Martins, 23, said in an Instagram Stories post Sunday. ‘All this past days I had a lot going on.
‘I had issues where the police was called because I feared for my life and my son’s life which led me to ask for help and ultimately be rescued from an environment that no longer was healthy for none of us involved in the situation.’
The latest: 90 Day Fiance’s Karine Martins, 23, says she and her one-year-old son Pierre are alright after she left the home of husband Paul Staehle, 37, and was granted an emergency protective order against him
Martins said she was ‘getting the best help [she] could ever get and [was] really thankful for all the people’ coming to her aid, as it has been a ‘big part’ of her ‘recovery.’
The Brazilian reality star took to social media a day after Staehle, 37, said on Instagram Stories that he was ‘really upset’ after a neighbor told him that Martins had taken the child and fled in a man’s vehicle, US reported.
Staehle displayed a restraining order Martins filed for ordering him to stay a minimum of 500 feet away from her and their son.
Martins departed the family’s house after a clash Thursday – that required police intervention – which Staehle said erupted when he witnessed her speaking ‘to a Brazilian lawyer about child support and divorce,’ US reported.

Better times: Paul and Karine got married in November 2017
She said in the court papers that Staehle was ‘armed and dangerous’ and told her that he would take Pierre should she ever leave the marriage.
In her post on the social media site, Martins implied that the marriage – the couple have been wed since 2017 – is likely finished.
‘Relationships are hard and sometimes it just can’t be fixed anymore. I need this time to organize my thoughts, work on myself and care for my son after everything we have been through in the last year and half.
‘I also would like to state that I’m not missing. The police knows where to find me if they need me.’
Martins noted that she was asking for prayers for herself and her son and had not started a GoFundMe fundraiser.
Staehle has past had legal problems in relationships as he said on the show that he’d ‘got locked back up’ after he broke the terms of a restraining order an ex had on him. In 2014, he was convicted of second-degree arson and was on probation because of it, according to US.
