4 new Covid-19 deaths reported in Monterey County on Saturday – KSBW Monterey

The Monterey County Health Department reported 4 new Covid-19 deaths on Saturday. All of the deaths were adults. Of the 4 deaths, 2 had significant underlying medical conditions. The county has said no more information about the cases will be released at this time. With the 4 new deaths it now brings the total Covid-19 death toll in the county to 30. Monterey County also reported 155 new confirmed cases on Saturday bringing the total to 4,697 cases. They also reported 10 more people were hospitalized due to the virus.According to the state of California Monterey county has a 10.1% test positivity rate in the last 14 days. This is above the state’s average of 7.3%
