2,160 new COVID-19 cases, 32 additional deaths reported in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 2,160 confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 602,792 since the start of the pandemic.State health officials also added 32 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state’s total, which is now 16,908.As of Friday, a total of 4,351,410 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to the state, of which 3,734,442 doses — or 85.8% — have been administered.
