The best celebrity looks from Met Gala 2022: Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian, more – Page Six

The Met Gala is back — and from the guest list to the red carpet, this year’s ball was bigger than ever before. After several pandemic-related delays, “fashion prom” returned to its traditional spot on the first Monday in May for 2022, with “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” as the evening’s theme, “gilded glamour” as its dress code and a coterie of A-listers on hand to co-host, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Regina King. And predictably, the carpet was pretty spectacular. Below, see our best-dressed picks from the evening, including Lively’s Lady Liberty-inspired Atelier Versace look, Kim Kardashian’s ode to Marilyn Monroe, Alicia Keys’ Empire State-minded Ralph Lauren gown and more. Met Gala 2022 love square: Jacob Elordi, Kaia Gerber, Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler attend – Daily Mail

The Met Gala 2022 was filled with A-list celebrities dressed in their best for fashion's biggest night of the year. And while they certainly didn't show it on the red carpet, some of the stars attending the lavish event in New York City were actually involved in an awkward 'love square' scenario. Euphoria star Jacob Elordi, 24, arrived solo after previously attending the 2021 Met Gala afterparty with his ex-girlfriend Kaia Gerber, 20. Case of the ex: Jacob Elordi (left) attended the 2022 Met Gala solo on Monday evening, while his ex-girlfriend Kaia Gerber ramped up the PDA with her new boyfriend Austin Butler (right) However, the couple - who went public with their romance in November 2020 - split just two months later in November 2021, with Kaia moving ...

The Korean Immigrant and Michigan Farm Boy Who Taught Americans How to Cook Chow Mein

Walk down the dubious ethnic aisle of an American supermarket, past the Old El Paso taco dinner kits and jars of Indian and Korean sauté sauces, and you’re bound to find them: canned “chop suey” vegetables, bottled soy sauce and teriyaki sauce, maybe a box of fortune cookies, and crispy twigs of fried noodles in a can, all from a brand called La Choy. Today, the logo has the Chinese character for “east” beside the brand name. But the company’s true origins lie in the Midwest. In 1922, two friends from the University of Michigan founded La Choy in Detroit. One hundred years later, its mass-produced Chinese food products, designed to “add spark to your meal planning” with “delicious, different Chinatown meals,” per a 1958 recipe booklet from the b...

Bucatini all’Amatriciana Recipe

A Classic Roman Dish - Bucatini all'Amatriciana Like many of you, Meg and I watched the Stanley Tucci special on CNN called Searching for Italy. In the Rome episode, he has lunch at Armando Al Pantheon to enjoy their famous rigatoni all'amatriciana, one of Rome's famous pastas. I made it a little different and call it bucatini all'Amatriciana. Of course I had to run out and buy the ingredients so we could make it at home. Not a lot of ingredients and very simple to prepare and absolutely delicious. Let's look at some of the ingredients. Bucatini Bucatini is a pasta that looks a lot like spaghetti but it is thicker and has a whole running down through the strand. My kids like to say it looks like a straw made out of pasta.  If you lived in Naples, Italy, you would call...
