EXCLUSIVE: Blumhouse and Miramax’s Dracula film Mina Harker isn’t happening, Deadline has learned. Originally, Blindspotting actress and #FreeRayshawn Emmy winner Jasmine Cephas Jones was set to headline Karyn Kusama’s Mina Harker, with cameras set to roll in three weeks. However, the production isn’t moving forward, and sources say Miramax exited over creative differences with the filmmaker. The crew was informed hours ago. The movie was to be set in contemporary Los Angeles, centering on protagonist Mina Harker, who plays opposite Dracula in the movie, with the classic Bram Stoker protagonist going by the name of Vladimir in the film. The “Aquaman” and “Dune” star is in talks to join a live-action movie based on the massively popular Minecraft video game, which is the best-selling game of all time with more than 238 million copies sold since its release in 2011. Jared Hess, known for directing “Napoleon Dynamite,” “Nacho Libre” and more, will helm the film. Four members of the Kardashian-Jenner family were present during Monday’s jury selection for their pending trial against Blac Chyna, multiple sources confirmed to Page Six. We’re told Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner visited the Los Angeles courthouse together – without Chyna’s ex, Rob Kardashian. As we previously reported, Kim, Khloé, Kris and Kylie are all set to testify in the trial. Reps for the reality stars did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
