Kim Kardashian reveals joke she cut from SNL about Khloe Kardashians relationship with Tristan – Daily Mail

Kim Kardashian axed a joke about her sister Khloe Kardashian tolerating serial cheater Tristan Thompson's 'side pieces' from her Saturday Night Live appearance.  The reality star, 41, shared the gag from an early draft of her opening monologue during a catch up with Amy Schumer, 40. On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim was filmed visiting the comedian to get advice and feedback ahead of her SNL debut.  'Oh Khloe, you have the biggest heart. It's so big, it has room for Tristan and all of his side-pieces,' Kim, 41, told Amy Schumer as she ran through her jokes. 'Oh s**t!' a shocked Amy said in reaction to the remark. 'It has room for... all of his side-pieces': Kim Kardashian shared the joke she had ultimately cut from her Saturday Night Live monologue about K...

Jada Pinkett Smiths Return To Red Table Talk Opened With Message Addressing Whats Happened after Oscars Slap Moment – CinemaBlend

While the Academy Awards aired nearly a month ago, the conversation surrounding the event hasn’t slowed down much. This is mostly due to Will Smith’s infamous slapping of Chris Rock, and the discourse that has continued as a result. Now Jada Pinkett Smith has returned to the Red Table Talk, which opened with a message addressing what’s “happened” after the Oscars slap moment. Late into the evening of the Academy Awards, presenter Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair, seemingly unaware of her struggles with alopecia. This prompted Will Smith to step on stage and slap the comic, shortly before giving a tear-filled acceptance speech for the Best Actor award. The fallout for the slap has been ongoing, and now Jada has addressed it in the opening of the new episode of Red...

Weve long been told salt is bad for you. Is it really? – USA TODAY

Dr. Michael Daignault For years now, we’ve continued to debate whether salt is actually “bad” for our health. And in discussing healthy diet and lifestyle choices with both my ER patients and friends alike, the common thread is the failure to distinguish between salt and sodium. They are often incorrectly used interchangeably. Sodium is a mineral and metallic element symbolized by “Na” on the Periodic Table. It is an essential nutrient and ion necessary to maintain our body’s fluid balance, contract and relax muscles, and conduct nerve impulses. But we need only a minimal amount of daily sodium to accomplish these goals. Salt is a chemical compound of only 40% sodium and predominantly 60% chloride, or “NaCl.” Know your risk:Are you at risk for a heart attack during your workout? Salt has ...

In an effort to curb Lyme disease, scientists hope to release thousands of genetically altered mice on Nantucket – The Boston Globe

The engineered rodents would look exactly like the native white-footed mice. But each of their cells would carry genetic code, specially tailored in an MIT lab, for resistance to the bacteria that causes Lyme disease. White-footed mice are a key reservoir for the harmful bacteria. Joanna Buchthal, a graduate student at MIT Media Lab and research director of the Mice Against Ticks project, looked for ticks recently on Nantucket. Jimmy Day/MIT Media Lab Because mice breed so quickly and prolifically, the scientists are betting the genes of the new rodents would predominate soon after their release. The immunized mice, they hope, would curb the spread of Lyme, which has increased dramatically here in recent years and is now the most common infectious disease on the island. If fewer mice carr...

Q&A: Anthony Fauci on mask mandates and whether the pandemic is finally nearing an end – Tennessean

As the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19 continue to remain well-below previous peaks, and as vaccinations increase, the USA TODAY Network-Tennessee reached out to disease expert Anthony Fauci to get his predictions about the future. Fauci, the Biden administration's lead advisor on the pandemic and an immunologist with more than 50 years of experience working to contain diseases, recently predicted in a published article in the Journal of Infectious Diseases that so-called "herd immunity" to the virus is likely impossible.  But, in an interview this week, he expressed cautious optimism that the worst is now behind us. Questions were edited for clarity and answers were edited for length. Q: What are your thoughts on the future of the pandemic? Is this something th...

Bucatini all’Amatriciana Recipe

A Classic Roman Dish - Bucatini all'Amatriciana Like many of you, Meg and I watched the Stanley Tucci special on CNN called Searching for Italy. In the Rome episode, he has lunch at Armando Al Pantheon to enjoy their famous rigatoni all'amatriciana, one of Rome's famous pastas. I made it a little different and call it bucatini all'Amatriciana. Of course I had to run out and buy the ingredients so we could make it at home. Not a lot of ingredients and very simple to prepare and absolutely delicious. Let's look at some of the ingredients. Bucatini Bucatini is a pasta that looks a lot like spaghetti but it is thicker and has a whole running down through the strand. My kids like to say it looks like a straw made out of pasta.  If you lived in Naples, Italy, you would call...
