Marilyn Mansons ex-assistant readies for court after claims she suffered from horrific abuse – Daily Mail

Marilyn Manson's former assistant is gearing up for court after claiming she suffered 'horrific' abuse at his hands, as the singer is attempting a third bid to throw out the case, claiming she has passed the statute of limitations because she 'understood' his behavior as wrong when he did it. Ashley Walters, 37, is preparing for a court hearing scheduled for May after her alleged perpetrator launches a third attack on the case, attempting to have it thrown out.  Walters claimed Manson, 53, sexually, physically and psychologically abused her during her employment, but the singer is claiming the only thing that will save her is her 'creative writing skills.'  The singer - born Brian Warner - also claimed her case is in violation of the two-year statute of limitations, as the alleged abuse o...

Los Angeles Covid Test Positivity Rising Rapidly; Only Time Will Tell If Hospitalizations Follow Suit – Deadline

Los Angeles County reported 1,355 new Covid cases on Friday, continuing an upward trend that began about a week ago as the more-infectious BA.2 subvariant continues to spread. Last week, the 7-day average daily number of new cases in the county was 878. By yesterday, the county was averaging more than 1,000 new Covid cases per day. Rising even more than the daily case numbers is the 7-day average daily rate of people testing positive for the virus, a data point considered a more accurate indication of spread because, in addition to being an average, it accounts for rising and falling test numbers. That rate had been holding steady below 1%, but rose to 1.7% on Thursday and hit 2.4% Friday. The rate is still low overall, but more than double what it was one week ago and roughl...

Promising cancer vaccine in the works utilizing similar mRNA technology that combats COVID: Duke researchers – Fox News

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! COVID-19 vaccine technology doesn’t just fight viruses – it can combat cancer. Duke researchers find potential in a cancer vaccine based on the same messenger RNA, or mRNA, technology used by COVID-19 vaccines to combat a type of breast cancer that over expresses a protein called HER2, according to a recent Fox 8 report.  "It is a product which is RNA nucleic acid which encodes a specific protein and then that can be encapsulated in something we like to call a lipid nanoparticle, which is really a little fat bubble, and that can be injected into your body and sort of teaches your body what to go after immunologically," said Dr. Zachary Hartman, assistant professor in the departments of surgery, pathology, and immunology at Duke University ...

Bucatini all’Amatriciana Recipe

A Classic Roman Dish - Bucatini all'Amatriciana Like many of you, Meg and I watched the Stanley Tucci special on CNN called Searching for Italy. In the Rome episode, he has lunch at Armando Al Pantheon to enjoy their famous rigatoni all'amatriciana, one of Rome's famous pastas. I made it a little different and call it bucatini all'Amatriciana. Of course I had to run out and buy the ingredients so we could make it at home. Not a lot of ingredients and very simple to prepare and absolutely delicious. Let's look at some of the ingredients. Bucatini Bucatini is a pasta that looks a lot like spaghetti but it is thicker and has a whole running down through the strand. My kids like to say it looks like a straw made out of pasta.  If you lived in Naples, Italy, you would call...

See Scott Disick Have the “Best Day” Chilling With Son Mason – E! NEWS

Scott Disick is reminiscing on old times. Scott posted a heartwarming photo to his Instagram story showing his 12-year-old son Mason Disick curled up next to his father on the couch like he did when he was younger.  "Best day ever," Scott wrote. "My little guy hasn't fallen asleep on me like this since he was 8."  He's made it clear that he's happy just chilling with Mason around the house. Back in October, he shared a photo of Mason with his brother Reign Disick, 7, during a "Boyz night" as they sat on the couch, Mason with a phone in his hand and Reign seeming to watch TV.  And he also has a special bond with his daughter Penelope Disick, 9—who he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian. In February, he said Penelope has made him "appreciate life more."  "Watching her grow into the...

The 3 Zodiac Signs With Rough Horoscopes On April 16, 2022 – YourTango

With a Full Moon in Libra at our heels and the Moon square Pluto, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if the day is not all we thought it was cracked up to be, for a few of the zodiac signs, at least. It's odd to think of a Full Moon in Libra, which is seemingly filled to the brim with positive potential being met full force by Moon square Pluto, which basically brings in as much dark energy as it can. So, to say the least, this day is going to bring about confusion on a major level. This is the day you wake up feeling fresh as a daisy, and within hours, you feel like the dirt it was planted in. Ah, Libra Moon, how you beckon us to desire balance and stability. This desire alone feels so doable and uncomplicated — balance, ease, security. Once we get this into our heads, it's exactly w...
