Bucatini all’Amatriciana Recipe

A Classic Roman Dish - Bucatini all'Amatriciana Like many of you, Meg and I watched the Stanley Tucci special on CNN called Searching for Italy. In the Rome episode, he has lunch at Armando Al Pantheon to enjoy their famous rigatoni all'amatriciana, one of Rome's famous pastas. I made it a little different and call it bucatini all'Amatriciana. Of course I had to run out and buy the ingredients so we could make it at home. Not a lot of ingredients and very simple to prepare and absolutely delicious. Let's look at some of the ingredients. Bucatini Bucatini is a pasta that looks a lot like spaghetti but it is thicker and has a whole running down through the strand. My kids like to say it looks like a straw made out of pasta.  If you lived in Naples, Italy, you would call...

Wordle now has two answers, depending on which site youre playing on – The Washington Post

“I was talking about how I don’t like when there was a vowel as the first letter, and neither my mom nor my dad realized what I was talking about because they had a consonant as their first letter,” she said. Rozance was among scores of people who were surprised this week to find that the popular word-deduction game had started serving them a different answer than their fellow puzzlers. The game’s communal appeal had come partly from the fact that there was only one answer per day, shared by players everywhere. As of Tuesday, there are two potential solutions, depending on which site someone is using. Story continues below advertisement Luckily for Wordle fans, the mismatch with fellow players is reversible. Refreshing the website where they’re playing the game should sync the puzzle ...

Bird flu detected at multiple chicken and turkey farms in Midwest, South; over 300k affected – USA TODAY

The recent cases of the bird flu were detected at an Indiana farm. Now, the bird flu has been detected at a Tyson Foods farm in Kentucky that houses an estimated 246,000 chickens. Health officials say the recent cases currently pose no risk to the public or to food safety. New confirmed cases of bird flu first noticed in Indiana are spreading among flocks of chickens and turkeys in three states, resulting in tens of thousands of birds testing positive for the virus. The new cases were reported last week when nearly 30,000 turkeys at a southern Indiana farm were euthanized after the H5N1 strain of avian flu was detected, the first time it had been seen in the U.S. since 2020. But on Monday and Tuesday, health officials said the same flu strain had been detected in 26,000 turkeys on anoth...

Vaccine-Induced Antibodies 17X More Effective Than Natural Immunity, Study Suggests – The Daily Wire

Antibodies induced by the lab-created COVID-19 vaccines may be better at attacking the virus and its variants than having natural immunity, according to a new study. The study’s results, which were published in the journal Scientific Reports, indicate researchers from the National Cancer Institute “used a series of in vitro assays to determine the number of antibodies produced by the vaccine and natural immunity, and whether this correlates to how much of the virus is neutralized,” and: Forty one serum samples were taken from 33 donors, all with a documented history of COVID-19 infection, and compared to a sample of 28 donors who had all received two doses of either Pfizer or Moderna. Those who were vaccinated had a 16.8-fold increase in neutralizing antibodies when compared to the natur...
