Ben Affleck Calls Justice League His Career Low, Likes Doing Regular Movies Now – Gizmodo

Image: Warner Bros. The development of 2017 (and later 2021's) Justice League is one of the most well-documented messes of a film in recent history, and its stars are still feeling its impact years later. Ray Fisher’s spoken about his time working on the film the most, but this weekend, it’s Ben Affleck in the spotlight for his words on the troubled film. Affleck, speaking to the LA Times, was asked about his short-lived rocky time as Batman that began with 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. At the time, the 49-year-old actor was reported to also be headlining, writing, and directing a solo Batman movie that would eventually become The Batman. Supreme Your Way into a Dreamy Citrus Season

Supreme Your Way into a Dreamy Citrus Season Many of us wait with great anticipation for winter’s colorful citrus to arrive around the beginning of each new year. I get excited just thinking about the juicy, sweet, and acidic navels, blood oranges, and other heirloom citruses, like pink pomelo, Oro Blanco, and Meyer lemons, showing up at my local farmers’ market at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. My social media feeds quickly become sunset-colored messes of salads and citrus upside-down cakes, punctuated with thick rounds of January orange. Those uniform circles are pretty and all, but pinwheels aren’t the only way. One suggestion is to opt for the oblong jewels that are supremed citrus s...

Simon Kinberg directs the film, which stars Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, Diane Kruger and Lupita Nyong’o. Poor reviews also aren’t helping. Audiences liked it more, giving the movie a B+ CinemaScore. The 355, a passion project for Chastain, is from Universal and FilmNation and is the first Hollywood studio release of 2022. Friday’s audience was led by females (52 percent), with 8...
