Covid-19 Vaccines and Myocarditis Link Probed by Researchers – The Wall Street Journal

As U.S. health authorities expand use of the leading Covid-19 vaccines, researchers investigating heart-related risks linked to the shots are exploring several emerging theories, including one centered on the spike protein made in response to vaccination. Researchers aren’t certain why the messenger RNA vaccines, one from Pfizer Inc. and partner BioNTech SE and the other from Moderna Inc., are likely causing the inflammatory heart conditions myocarditis and pericarditis in a small number of cases.

Dustin Diamond Wouldve Loved Saved by the Bell Tribute to Screech – TMZ

Dustin Diamond might not be around for any more 'Saved by the Bell' episodes, but he would've enjoyed one that's about to honor him ... according to a near and dear friend. One of DD's closest confidants and pals, Dan Block, tells TMZ ... he was connected with producers for the 'SBTB' reboot earlier this year, courtesy of Dustin's agent -- who patched him through upon his client's untimely passing. Block says the folks behind the new reboot wanted to pick his brain on how best to pay tribute to Dustin's longtime character from the OG series, Screech, and DB had some ideas. ...

Its My Body And My COVID, Pete Davidsons Aaron Rodgers Declares On SNL – HuffPost

Pete Davidson transformed into Green Bay Packer Aaron Rodgers to take on the football star’s COVID diagnosis and his defiant refusal to be vaccinated on “Saturday Night Live’s” cold open episode of Faux News’ “Justice With Judge Jeanine.” Cecily Strong, playing Jeanine Pirro, introduces “Rodgers” as an American brave enough to say: “Screw you, science, I know” conspiracy quack Joe Rogan. “You’re not vaccinated. So what?” she tells Davidson. “Who the hell cares? It’s your body, your choice. And please never use that quote for any other issue.” “Exactly Jeanine, it’s my body and my COVID ... I can give it to whoever I want,” replies Davidson. “But suddenly the woke mob is coming after me.” “Pirro” challenges him: “Straight talk Aaron, because I never talk gay. Did you ever lie about being...

Astroworld victims killed at festival start to be identified – New York Post

Several of the eight people who were killed in Friday night’s stampede at Travis Scott’s Astroworld have been identified. Danish Baig, 27, was killed when he tried to rescue a family member during the surge at the event, which was “managed poorly and supervised by such horrible people,” his brother wrote on Facebook Saturday. “My brother tried to save my sister in law from these horrendous acts that were being done to her in the process he lost his life,” Basil Baig posted. He described his brother as a “beautiful soul” whose smile “would light up the room and put everyone before himself. “Last night he showed his courageous act to save my sister in law from those horrendous things that were being done,” the grieving brother said. Baig, who said he a...

Sleep with your pet? How that may affect you (and your pet) – KSL.com

"Hi, I'm Lynx (center and right), a 2-year-old Siberian. I must sleep with one of my humans, so I can walk or sit on them or try to smell their breath. I also enjoy draping my 2-foot-long body across their necks at about 3 a.m. My sister Luna (left) likes to sit on feet and bite them during the night." (CNN) Estimated read time: 8-9 minutes ATLANTA — In the quest for better sleep, people often ask if they should share their bed with a pet. Before we get to that, let's take a moment to ponder the flip side: Is sleeping with you good for your pet? "I love that we're reversing the question," said Dr. Dana Varble, the chief veterinary officer for the North American Veterinary Community. "In general, ...

‘SNL’: Kieran Culkin Talks ‘Succession’ In Opening Monologue & First Appearance On Sketch Series Alongside Older Brother – Deadline

Tonight, Kieran Culkin made his first appearance as host of Saturday Night Live, reflecting up top on his experience portraying Roman Roy on HBO’s hit series Succession over the last few years. “He’s one of the nicer characters on the show,” Culkin explained, “which still makes him one of the top 10 worst human beings on TV.” Culkin noted that people sometimes tell him, “That role really suits you,” admitting that that isn’t really a compliment. “It’s sort of like going up to someone and saying, ‘You know what role would fit you like a glove? Giuliani,'” he joked. “Ah, why?” These encounters aside, it’s been a “big year” for Culkin, who in August welcomed his second child with wife Jazz Charton. “I’ve got to say, my wife has been really supportive and wonderful throughout thi...
