Billie Eilish calls out Texas over abortion law during performance in Austin: Im sick and tired of old men – Fox News

Billie Eilish slammed the state of Texas over its recent controversial abortion law while performing at Austin City Limits over the weekend.  The Grammy-winning artist took the stage at the show to perform some of her hits. However, she stopped at one point to discuss politics and pulled no punches when it came to denouncing the abortion law.  The star admitted that she almost didn’t attend the show as an act of protest about the law, which went into effect on Sept. 1 after being upheld in a 5-4 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court. The Morning After: What is it with Netflix cropping ‘Seinfeld’? – Engadget

Welcome to Monday. How was your weekend? For me, a rainy October — England doing what it does — kept me indoors, but fortunately, there was a crop of shows I was planning to watch anyhow. While I caught up on the cultural phenomenon that is Squid Games, a lot of you dipped your toes into the entire run of Seinfeld, which is now available to stream on Netflix. You might have noticed the march of progress inadvertently squashing some of the visual gags out of shot. Case in point: The pothole featured in season 8 is literally out of shot to fit the show into the modern 16:9 widescreen format. Cropped shows have always been an issue: Seinfeld has been on cable TV and Hulu with similar cropping. The popularity of Netflix has simply meant the show is getting more attention at this moment ...

After COVID-19, Could This Be the Next Billion-Dollar Vaccine Market? – Motley Fool

For vaccine leaders Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), the coronavirus vaccine market represents more than $50 billion this year. Moderna expects $20 billion in vaccine sales. And Pfizer and its partner BioNTech (NASDAQ:BNTX) will split profits after taking in $33.5 billion in vaccine revenue. Those numbers sound tough to beat. But the companies don't necessarily have to top this performance. Instead, they may just use their expertise to enter a smaller market -- but one that still could offer sales in the billions. So, what's the next focus for Moderna, Pfizer, and rivals? Let's find out. Image source: Getty Images. Between 9 million and 45 million cases First, a clue.
