Syracuse, N.Y. – An Onondaga County employee was arrested Sunday after a confrontation with his estranged wife while he was working for the county, police said. Michael A. Russo, 34, of Syracuse, was arrested after driving to Liverpool in a county-owned work truck to confront his estranged wife, state police said. When he arrived, Russo broke into the home and began a fight with the woman, troopers said. During the fight, he took his estranged wife’s phone and left the home before police arrived, troopers said. Russo was arrested at work and was taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center for arraignment. He is no longer in the jail.
