‘Brady Bunch’ star Barry Williams reflects on bonding with his TV family: ‘We protected each other’ – Fox News

Barry Williams will always be a big brother to this TV family. The former child star famously starred as Greg Brady in the beloved sitcom "The Brady Bunch," which aired from 1969 until 1974. The 66-year-old, who now lives in Branson, Missouri, recently told Closer Weekly that he still remains close with the surviving cast. "We have a very unique experience in common," the actor explained. "We grew up with the show playing family members and went through all of the changes in our growth in front of the world. That created some unique and sometimes challenging circumstances, but we protected each other and took care of each other. That commonality puts us in a very small club." Williams added that he’s especially close to Christopher Knight who played Peter Brady in the series. FORMER ...

Sept 5 (Reuters) - Nurse Chris Prott's knees jump, his heart races, his mouth goes dry and his mind floods with dark memories when he talks about working in the Milwaukee VA Medical Center's intensive care unit (ICU) during pandemic surges. Prott shares a struggle common to many of the military veterans for whom he has cared for years: symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Prott was among a half dozen ICU staffers who told Reuters of symptoms such as waking from nightmares bathed in sweat; flashbacks to dying patients during the pandemic's fear-filled early days; flaring anger; and panic at the sound of medical alarms. Those whose symptoms last longer than one month and are severe enough to interfere with daily life can be diagnosed with PTSD. The surging Delta variant is hea...

The Moderna vaccine makes more antibodies than Pfizers. Does it matter? – The Japan Times

Ten months ago, the results of large clinical trials appeared almost too good to be true: Two messenger RNA vaccines reduced symptomatic COVID-19 cases by more than 90% in almost every group that got them. Now, subtle differences between the Pfizer Inc.-BioNTech SE and Moderna Inc. vaccines are emerging across patient groups over time. One small U.S. study found waning levels of antibodies with Pfizer’s vaccine, particularly in an older group of people. And a larger study from Belgium found that Moderna’s shot may generate more antibodies than Pfizer’s. But what this all means in the real world is still unclear. While hundreds of millions of doses of vaccines have been administered around the world, researchers are still working to understand the nuances of how long their protect...
