Pan-dimwits: Jimmy Kimmel says the unvaxxed dont deserve ICU beds – New York Post

Where’d you get your degree, Jimbo? ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel took a shot at unvaccinated Americans on air Tuesday, saying they shouldn’t be admitted to ICU beds. Ranting about inflated COVID-19 rates during his opening monologue, Kimmel snarked, “Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more crowded, they’re going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed. “That choice doesn’t seem so tough to me.” It didn’t end there: Kimmel went on to mock those who, against FDA warnings, took substances like deworming agents as a way to remedy their illness. “Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in, we’ll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy.”  Jimmy Kimmel used unvacci...

2 NE Indiana counties move to ‘red’ in latest COVID metrics map – WANE

INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) – All but three counties are under the highest categories for community spread of COVID-19, according to Indiana’s Department of Health. On Wednesday, Indiana’s Department of Health (IDOH) updated the weekly metrics map, which details the level of community spread by county. As of now, the map is used as a reference point for local health departments to determine if action should be taken to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. This week, 21 counties are in “red,” the highest category for community spread. 68 counties are in the next tier, “orange,” with three in yellow. In northeast Indiana, 11 counties are in orange and one, LaGrange, is in yellow. Two counties – Whitley and DeKalb – saw their condition worsen from orange to red. Last week, 13 ...

Monica Lewinsky recalls Clinton’s ‘lethal charm’ that left her ‘intoxicated’: ‘I was enamored with him – Fox News

After retreating from the spotlight, Monica Lewinsky is ready to reclaim her story. The 48-year-old serves as a producer on the FX series "Impeachment: American Crime Story," which premiered on Tuesday night. It follows the story of the former White House intern’s affair with President Bill Clinton and the subsequent impeachment trial that came about in December 1998. The president was 49 at the time of the incident. Lewinsky was 22. On Wednesday, Lewinsky told People magazine that she has found the courage to examine what occurred "between the most powerful man in the world and an unpaid intern less than half his age." Britney Spears attorney confirms plans to investigate dad Jamie despite his petition to end conservatorship – Fox News

Britney Spears' attorney says Jamie Spears' petition to end her 13-year-long conservatorship is a "massive legal victory" for the singer, but it doesn't mean it'll stop him from digging into all she's allegedly suffered under his reign. Mathew Rosengart is the high-profile attorney who has been representing the "Toxic" singer in her conservatorship case since July. In a statement to Fox News, Rosengart confirmed his plans to investigate Jamie's alleged mishandling of the 39-year-old pop star's finances despite Jamie's Tuesday filing, which calls for the conservatorship to end. "This filing represents a massive legal victory for Britney Spears, as well as vindication," Rosengart said of Jamie's filing. "Having exposed his misconduct and improper plan to hold his daughter hostage by tryi...

The CDC Just Made an Orwellian Change to the Definition of Vaccine and Vaccination – PJ Media

For your entire life, you’ve known that when you get vaccinated, you’re protected from a particular disease. You’ve probably been vaccinated for such diseases as polio, tetanus, measles, diphtheria, and others, and you no longer have to worry about them, because the whole reason your parents took to the doctor to get those shots was to protect from those diseases. Polio, in particular, has been completely wiped out in the United States thanks to the immunity created by vaccination. This is why the CDC says that vaccines provide immunity, which means that we can be exposed to a disease without becoming infected by it. At least they used to. A recent change on the CDC website should disturb all of us because it appears that the CDC is trying to change how we understand vaccinat...

Having COVID-19 and vaccine may give some superhuman immunity: study – New York Post

Some people have “superhuman immunity” to fight off COVID-19 if they’ve previously had the virus and received two vaccine doses, new studies shows. Researchers say people who have had “hybrid” exposure to COVID-19 — including infection and then full vaccination — have mounted a powerful immune response to the virus and are likely able to fight off most of the variants. A Rockefeller University study published last month found that antibodies in people who had hybrid exposure were very high and could neutralize six variants, including Delta. “Those people have amazing responses to the vaccine,” Rockefeller University virologist Theodora Hatziioannou, who helped lead the study, told NPR. “After natural infections, the antibodies seem to evolve and become not...

Utah reports 1st human death of West Nile virus, record number of mosquito pools – KSL.com

Agriculture officials say more than 500 mosquito pools have been found to carry the West Nile virus this year — the "highest number of positive mosquito pools ever seen in Utah." (Shutterstock) SALT LAKE CITY — Utah health officials said Wednesday a northern Utah resident died recently as a result of the West Nile virus, marking the state's first fatal case of the virus this year. The update came just a day after state agriculture officials reported that abatement teams have come across a record number of mosquito pools that possess the virus. In all, 11 people within the Davis, Salt Lake and Weber-Morgan health districts have tested positive for West Nile virus this year, the Utah Department of Health reported Wednesday. The st...
