Judge Denies Damon Dash, Claims Jay-Z Wont Let Him Sell Roc-A-Fella Stake – TMZ

Damon Dash just took another L in court at the hands of Roc-A-Fella and Jay-Z ... but their legal war's far from over, and they could be duking it out again soon. A federal judge just shot down Dash's bid to get a temporary restraining order which would have blocked Friday's meeting of the record label's shareholders -- a meeting where Dash claimed Jay would try to pass bylaws restricting Dame's ability to sell his stake in RAF. According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Dash says he...

With children under 12 still ineligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, a sizable percentage of younger children will resume school in the fall with vulnerabilities to several illnesses.  The first report, which was published in The Lancet, estimated that 8.5 million more children than expected missed doses of the diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, which protects against diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus, and an additional 8.9 million children missed their first dose of the measles vaccine.  "Although the latest coverage trajectories point towards recovery in some regions, a combination of lagging catch-up immunization services, continued SARS...

Monkeypox virus reported in a person who flew from Nigeria to Dallas through Atlanta – The Washington Post

People can get monkeypox when they are bitten or scratched by an animal, prepare wild game or have contact with an infected animal or possibly animal products. Human-to-human transmission is thought to occur primarily through large respiratory droplets. Respiratory droplets generally cannot travel more than a few feet, so prolonged face-to-face contact is required, according to the CDC. The virus can also spread through contact with body fluids, monkeypox sores or items that have been contaminated with fluids or sores, such as clothing and bedding.

Mila Kunis convinced Ashton Kutcher to ditch ticket to space aboard Virgin Galactic – New York Post

Actor and investor Ashton Kutcher revealed that he bought a ticket to go to space on one of Virgin Galactic’s next flights — but then sold the ticket back to the company at the behest of his wife, Mila Kunis. “When I got married and had kids, my wife basically encouraged that it was not a smart family decision to be heading into space when we have young children, so I ended up selling my ticket back to Virgin Galactic,” Kutcher told Cheddar News in an interview Wednesday. “I was supposed to be on the next flight, but I will not be on the next flight.” Virgin Galactic successfully flew its co-founder Sir Richard Branson and team members Sirisha Bandla, Beth Moses and Colin Bennett as well as pilots Dave Mackay and Michael Masucci to the edge of space last wee...

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Seven Bay Area counties and the city of Berkeley on Friday issued a recommendation, but not an order, for everyone to wear masks indoors again, whether they are vaccinated or not, as a precaution against the increased prevalence of COVID-19, as well as the delta variant. "Out of an abundance of caution, people are recommended to wear masks indoors in settings like grocery or retail stores, theaters, and family entertainment centers, even if they are fully vaccinated as an added layer of protection for unvaccinated residents," the health officials wrote.  This week alone, Contra Costa County’s reported new cases are averaging 93 per day and the daily case rate is now 5.7 per 100,000 and rising, the joint news release from most of the Bay Area health depar...

Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers hid engagement for months and months – Page Six

Shailene Woodley enjoyed keeping her engagement to Aaron Rodgers a secret “for months and months.” The “Big Little Lies” star, 29, admitted in a new interview that she and the Green Bay Packers quarterback, 37, kept the news between the two of them for as long as possible. “When we announced that we were engaged, we wanted to do that only because we didn’t want someone else to do it before we did,” Woodley told the Hollywood Reporter in her cover story published Friday. “And we didn’t do it for months and months after we had become engaged, but the reaction to it was really a lot, and so we were like, ‘Let’s just politely decline [to talk about the relationship] for a little while and live in our little bubble.'” The couple first sparked dating rumo...
