Kim Kardashian Explained Her Divorce From Kanye West On The “KUWTK” Reunion – BuzzFeed

"It was not one specific thing." During tonight's Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion, Kardashian initially demurred on talking divorce details with host Andy Cohen — but, eventually, she changed her mind. “It was not, like, one specific thing that happened on either part,” she explained. “I think it was just a general difference of opinions on a few things that led to this decision and in no way would I want someone to think I didn't give it my all or I didn't try.” Marc Piasecki / GC Images When it comes to how they're going to handle parenting their four children post-divorc...

Frank Bonner, who played Herb Tarlek on the TV sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, dies at age 79 – CNN

Bonner's first credited role was in the cult film "Equinox," in which he was credited by his birth name, Frank Boers, Jr., according to the Internet Movie Database. But he achieved his greatest fame in 1978 for his role as the overconfident sales manager Herb Tarlek on WKRP. The show ran from 1978 until 1982. At the fictional radio station, Tarlek was a sleazy-but-likeable salesman, known for his cocky demeanor and jocular relationship with his boss. His sense of fashion was even louder than the station's rock 'n' roll playlist. Tarlek sparred with disc jockeys while wearing a seemingly endless supply of plaid sportscoats and wide neckties. "RIP My Great Friend !!" actor Gary Sandy posted on Facebook on Thursday. On "WKRP," Sandy played program director Andy Travis, another fr...

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines dont lower sperm count, study says – New York Post

Men who received the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine did not see a drop in sperm count or quality, a new study found. Researchers at the University of Miami studied the sperm quality of 45 healthy volunteers before their first shot and 70 days after their second, and found there were no “significant decreases in any sperm parameter” after taking two doses of the mRNA vaccine. “Because the vaccines contain mRNA and not the live virus, it is unlikely that the vaccine would affect sperm parameters,” said study author Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, director of male reproductive medicine and surgery at the University of Miami Health System. The findings, which were published Thursday in The Journal of the American Medical Association, should soothe fears of men who...

New Covid study hints at long-term loss of brain tissue, Dr. Scott Gottlieb warns – CNBC

Dr. Scott Gottlieb warned Thursday about the potential for long-term brain loss associated with Covid, citing a new study from the United Kingdom. "In short, the study suggests that there could be some long-term loss of brain tissue from Covid, and that would have some long-term consequences," the former FDA chief and CNBC contributor said.   "You could compensate for that over time, so the symptoms of that may go away, but you're never going to regain the tissue if, in fact, it's being destroyed as a result of the virus," said Gottlieb, who serves on the board of Covid vaccine-maker Pfizer. The U.K. study examined brain imaging before and after a coronavirus infection and looked specifically at the potential effect on the nervous system.  Gottlieb explained to CNBC's...

Israel said seeing spike in childhood illness RSV after it receded during COVID – The Times of Israel

Israel has seen a spike in cases of a common respiratory virus that typically does not circulate during the summer, including seven children in serious condition. Citing Health Ministry officials, Channel 12 reported Thursday that doctors were concerned about the unusual rise in RSV and were ensuring that hospitals had appropriate breathing devices to treat patients. Similar spikes in unseasonal RSV were seen in other places around the world, most notably in Australia and among the ultra-Orthodox community in Brooklyn in their respective spring seasons. In all the cases, there had been a significant drop in cases during the normal winter RSV season. RSV is one of the typically common illnesses that have receded during the pandemic, surprising many doctors. The virus,...

Kim Kardashian: KUWTK wouldnt be successful without sex tape scandal – Page Six

Maybe the tape came in handy after all. Kim Kardashian believes that the success of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” can be attributed to the scandal surrounding her 2007 sex tape with her then-boyfriend, Willie “Ray J” Norwood. “Do you feel that the show would have had its massive initial success without the publicity that surrounded the sex tape?” Andy Cohen point-blankly asked the Kardashian family during the reunion taping on Thursday. “Looking back, probably not,” Kardashian, 40, admitted. She also “absolutely” thought about what she would say if her kids — North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, or Psalm, 2 — asked her about it. “I haven’t had to as of yet and luckily I think that so many years have gone on and so many things have happened posit...
