San Diegans Among Hundreds of Young People Reporting Heart Condition After Vaccine, Prompting CDC Investigation – NBC San Diego

More than 300 cases of heart inflammation after Covid-19 vaccinations have been reported in young people, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said Thursday, prompting an investigation into whether the condition is being directly caused by the vaccine. The agency’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices's meeting, originally scheduled for Friday, was moved to June 24 and June 25 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday weekend. “This may be coincidental, a person may be predisposed to this, it may be as we see often in this vaccine that our own immune system starts reacting in an inflammatory way against our own muscles,” said Dr. Michael Welch, an allergist and immunologist at Rady Children’s Hospital, where eight boys have...

Prince Williams health: Experts discuss the royals hereditary hair loss – Express

Do you also suffer from what is known as male pattern baldness? Lead pharmacist Sonia Khan is convinced this caused Prince William's hair loss. Speaking exclusively to the Express.co.uk, she shares her expertise. "Male pattern baldness is a leading cause of hair loss and is a genetic problem. Prince Charles is also balding, as was Prince Phillip," said Khan. "William started losing his hair quite young, but this is not something to worry about." Khan also advises against using high-heat styling tools, such as straighteners. "Using a mild shampoo that is suitable for your hair type (such as dry hair) also helps to keep the hair healthy and strong," said Khan. This makes the hair "less likely to fall out". If your current shampoo is the root cause behind the hair loss, changing it could mak...

At least in the case of the Foo Fighters, who became the subject of Ricky Schroder’s ire after they announced two nights of shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden that required proof of vaccination to enter. One thing that’s good to hear, though, is that Dave Chappelle is vaccinated. After a year of hosting comedy shows amid a pandemic (a year that ended with Dave Chappelle testing positive for the coronavirus), Chappelle joined the Foos on stage for a rousing, if a little off-key version of Radiohea...

Khloé Kardashian confirms she had a nose job: No ones ever asked me – Yahoo Entertainment

On part two of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion hosted by Andy Cohen Sunday night, Khloé Kardashian opened about all those plastic surgery rumors. It's no secret Khloé has been the most targeted Kardashian when it comes to body-shaming on the internet, the worst rumor being that Robert Kardashian is not her biological father since she doesn't look like her sisters Kim and Kourtney. On Sunday, Cohen asked Khloé what has been something that is always written about her that's just not true. Khloé answered, "Well, for me, everyone says, 'Oh, my gosh, she's had her third face transplant.'" Khloé then opened up about the plastic surgery she has gotten, as she shared, "But I've had one nose job, Dr. Raj Kanodia. And everyone gets so upset. Like, why don't I talk about it? No one's eve...

Kevin Can F**k Himself: Grade the Premiere of Annie Murphys AMC Satire – TVLine

RELATED STORIES AMC’s Kevin Can F**k Himself deserves a round of applause just for its title — an obvious play on CBS’ Kevin Can Wait, a two-season comedy best remembered for just how sloppily it handled Erinn Hayes’ expulsion as Kevin James’ significantly better half. But does the writing for this sitcom satire do its inventive premise justice? Both TVLine’s Dave Nemetz and TV’s erstwhile King of Queens have weighed in on the black comedy — and in a moment, we’ll ask what you thought, too. But first, a brief overview of Sunday’s two-episode premiere: Emmy Award winner Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) stars as Allison McRoberts, a prototypical sitcom wife who tires of her regressive, multi-camera marriage to good-for-nothing husband Kevin (played by Kirstie’s Eric Petersen). On Al...
