Piers Morgan dubs Meghan Markle Princess Pinocchio while responding to Twitter critic – Fox News

Piers Morgan took yet another jab at Meghan Markle while responding to criticism from a follower who seemingly alleged he was fired from ITV.  Morgan has been an outspoken critic of the Duchess of Sussex for many years. Most dramatically, he walked off the set of "Good Morning Britain" mid-telecast after being called out for his typically negative coverage of Markle following her explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.  Morgan would later go on to reveal that he would not return to "Good Morning Britain" because he refused to apologize for his opinion on Markle. However, that didn’t stop him from responding to a detractor on Twitter who seemingly alleged in a since-deleted tweet that Morgan was given the boot by the network rather than voluntarily left his position at the dayt...

Rare COVID-19-linked syndrome in kids possible in adults too, case report notes – Fox News

While research into the specific cause of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is ongoing, a new case report suggests that it may also appear in adults who have a history of COVID-19 diagnosis or exposure. In a case report involving a 60-year-old Canadian man, doctors suggest that age should not limit the potential diagnosis.  The man, whose case was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, sought medical treatment at a hospital for prolonged shortness of breath, high fever, swelling and severe fatigue. His medical history included a positive SARS-CoV-2 diagnosis four weeks prior to the new symptoms, and subsequent testing detected an enlarged heart and lung swelling. He had not received a COVID-19 vaccine and no known comorbidities.  MIS-C causes differ...

There Are No Sad Salads in Uyen Luu’s Kitchen

Uyen Luu is used to cooking for a crowd. On a near-weekly basis for the past decade, she’s been feeding upwards of thirty to forty supper club guests in her East London studio and kitchen. What started as her homage to Italian osterias evolved into her supper club’s current form: large family-style dishes of lemongrass-scented ribeye, woven rice noodle sheets of bánh hỏi, and pandan cheesecake, all reflecting her Vietnamese roots. London’s past year of lockdowns put a pause on her dinner parties (which are tentatively set to resume in July), but in her downtime, she wrote her latest cookbook, Vietnamese. Her recipes embody the spirit and conviviality of Vietnamese cooking—which, she emphasizes, is not always about finding exactly what you’d get ...

Sex abuse rituals at NJ boarding school exposed — in cartoons by survivor – New York Post

Glenn Head didn’t wait 50 years just to pull punches. After all, he survived a child’s waking nightmare at the hands of a pervert – not to mention the self-destructive sex-and-substance abuse streak it spawned in his adulthood. He didn’t get out alive by throwing fights.  The veteran cartoonist is telling his triumph-over-trauma tale for the first time in the new graphic memoir “Chartwell Manor.” Don’t let that whimsical cover art throw you: Head’s unflinching book recounts his two years at the now-defunct Mendham, NJ boarding school run by headmaster “Sir” Terence Michael Lynch — a serial sexual abuser who manipulated young boys into “cuddling sessions” after fondling and beating their nude bodies.  Head’s “bland, suburban” existence was shattered at 13...
