Australias Melbourne to exit COVID-19 lockdown but some restrictions remain – Reuters

Australia’s second largest city Melbourne will exit a COVID-19 hard lockdown as planned on Thursday night, Victoria state authorities said, although some restrictions on travel and gatherings would likely remain for another week. After two weeks in a strict lockdown that forced people to remain home except for essential business, Melbourne's five million residents will get more freedom to step outside from 11:59 p.m. local time (1359 GMT) on Thursday. However, people must stay within 25 kms (15 miles) of their homes, officials said, in an effort to stop transmission during an upcoming long weekend. Cancer patient with 2 percent chance of survival stuns with emotional AGT song: Im so much more than the bad things that happen to me – Yahoo Entertainment

Nightbirde took the stage looking thin and frail, but she exuded such serenity and strength that when she revealed she had “some cancer in my lungs and spine and my liver” and that doctors had now given her only a 2 percent chance of survival, shocked judge Howie Mandel gasped, “So… you’re not OK?” She answered, very calmly: “...

Users say that HBO Max, which costs $15 a month, has been broken for a week – The A.V. Club

HBO Max, ostensibly the streaming service with the best library, can’t get its tech together. Last week, Apple TV users began complaining about the app malfunctioning, saying that, following a recent update, the app refuses to rewind, fast-forward, or pause. It’s been days, and the streaming service that would love nothing more than for you to cuddle up and watch The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It still can’t get the devil to fix their platform. Have they considered selling their souls to the dark lord? All signs point to no because it’s still broken (haven’t you been reading). On Twitter, users in the industry and regular people struggle to get the dang thing to work. Still, it’s nice to see that the rich and powerful have to use the same dumb streaming services as the rest...
