As Americans get vaccinated against the coronavirus, a report published Wednesday found teens and adults may have missed millions of routine vaccinations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2020. The study, commissioned by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and conducted by Avalere Health, analyzed vaccine claims from January through November 2020 and compared them with the same timeframe in 2019. Scientists Find Unusual Form of Iron and Copper in Brains of Alzheimers Patients – Gizmodo

In the brain of a person with Alzheimer’s disease, beta-amyloid proteins clump together to form plaques (brown), while clumps of tau proteins form tangles (blue). These structures are thought to disrupt normal brain functioning.Image: NIH Image Gallery/Wikimedia Commons A group of scientists say they’ve made a surprising and potentially very important discovery in the brains of two people with Alzheimer’s disease: traces of a particular form of iron and copper deep inside deposits of amyloid plaque, a key marker of the fatal disease. The find raises more questions about how Alzheimer’s develops and may one day point to a new avenue of detecting or treating the underlying dysfunction that causes it. Iron and copper are elements found in tiny amounts throughout the body, including in th...

According to the outlet, Hammer was taken to the Grand Cayman airport by his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, and their two children. A source close to Hammer said that the actor reached out to Chambers in late May, asking for help in seeking treatment — and said he'd stay at the Florida facility until he got healthy.  Armie Hammer a...
