Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Humboldt County today. The total number of county residents who have tested positive for the virus is 4,405 after two previously reported cases were determined to be false positives and removed from the count.  The vaccine section of the Data Dashboard has been updated with the latest information from the California Immunization Registry (CAIR), which reports that 121,713 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the county, and 48.6% of residents ages 12 and up who are currently eligible for vaccination have been fully vaccinated. The study found that people who inhaled nitrous oxide reported improvements in their depression symptoms afterward.
