Quentin Tarantino: Everyone but Bruce Lees daughter can suck a d–k – New York Post

He’s not pulling any punches. After months of backlash, Quentin Tarantino is finally addressing his controversial depiction of the late Bruce Lee in “Once Upon A Time … in Hollywood” — by telling critics to “suck” it. The “Pulp Fiction” director dropped the bombshell during an appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience” Tuesday. “Where I’m coming from is … I can understand his daughter having a problem with it, it’s her f–king father!” the 58-year-old auteur told Rogan. “I get that. But anybody else? Go suck a d–k.” He was responding to blowback over the film’s divisive scene, in which stuntman Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) beats up a braggadocious Bruce Lee (Mike Moh) on the set of the “Green Hornet.” Detractors had deemed the doppelganger a racist caricature w...

Britney Spears conservator slams Jamie Spears claims she blocked stars personal care, medical freedom – Fox News

Britney Spears’ conservatorship team is apparently experiencing some in-house schism. On Tuesday, the pop star’s father submitted a court filing claiming his daughter’s court-appointed attorney, Samuel Ingham III, and temporary conservator of her person, Jodi Montgomery, are the people pulling the strings which the singer alleges disallowed her to freely make her own decisions regarding medical and personal care choices. James P. Spears – otherwise known as Jamie – said in the filing obtained by Fox News that Montgomery "has served continuously as the sole Conservator of the Person of Ms. Spears since September 2019 and continues to serve in that capacity." "Ms. Montgomery has been fully in charge of Ms. Spears' personal care and medical treatment in consultations with Mr. Ingham – an...

Bill Cosby released from prison after court overturns sexual assault conviction – CBS News

Bill Cosby was released from prison Wednesday after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his 2018 sexual assault conviction, saying the comedian was "denied a fair trial." Cosby, 83, was convicted of sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004 and had served three years of a three- to 10-year sentence.  In its ruling, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said a "non-prosecution agreement" with a former district attorney prevented Cosby from facing charges. With the understanding that he would not be prosecuted, the court said Cosby gave sworn depositions in a separate civil case in which he made "incriminating statements'' without the protection of his Fifth Amendment rights. Castor's successor, District Attorney Kevin Steele, violated the terms of the agreement when he...

Warning: Research Shows Pet Dogs and Cats May Easily Catch COVID-19 From Their Owners – SciTechDaily

By European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases June 30, 2021 COVID-19 is common in pet cats and dogs whose owners have the virus, according to new research being presented at the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) held online this year. Cases of owners spreading the disease to their dog or cat have been documented before but are considered to be of negligible risk to public health. However, as vaccination and other measures reduce human-to-human transmission of the virus, it is becoming imperative that we understand more about the potential risk posed by animal infections. To find out more, Dr. Els Broens and colleagues at Utrecht University, Utrecht, the Netherlands, studied dogs and cats of people who had tes...
