Some people still need to mask up even if vaccinated. Are you one of them? – KSL.com

ATLANTA (CNN) — The news flashed across the country — mask-free at last! People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer have to wear masks inside or outside, nor do they have to stay 6 feet away from others, according to new guidance released Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Does that mean those Americans vaccinated at least two weeks ago — meaning full immunity has kicked in — can throw their masks in the air and hug all in celebration? Not quite. You do have to mask up on public transportation or if required by laws or regulations — that would apply to hospitals, nursing homes and other health care settings, and even some local businesses and workplaces. Kids still have to mask up to go to school. Then there is this warning: "If you have a con...

Rebel Cancellation Controversy: Krista Vernoff Rips ABC on Twitter – TVLine

The Rebel cancellation backlash is growing. Mere hours after leading lady Katey Sagal took ABC to task for its abrupt “reversal of support,” series creator Krista Vernoff — who also oversees Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 for the network — similarly took aim at her bosses for pulling the plug on Rebel after just five episodes. After quoting a line in a Deadline story positing that modestly-rated Rebel was believed to have had a good shot at scoring a second season largely on the strength of Vernoff’s stature within the network, the EP wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “You’d think, wouldn’t you?” She then added: “You give them three shows during a pandemic, they give you five episodes. Cool. Cool. Cool.” Season to date, Rebel has averaged 3.2 million total viewers and a 0.43 ...

"We like to look at things as either all good or all bad. The news has gone from gloom and doom to 'the pandemic's over.' Well, it's not over. We're moving in the right direction. There's a lot of progress," he said, adding there are also still risks associated with the virus...

Christ the Redeemer statue lights up with a message: ‘Vaccine Saves’ – RT

Brazil’s world-famous Jesus statue in Rio de Janeiro has been lit up to project a message of vaccine evangelism, encouraging individuals from miles around to drop to their knees and worship another, more controversial savior. The statue, which depicts Jesus Christ, arms outstretched, on the hillside of Rio, was emblazoned with the slogans “vaccine saves” and “united for vaccines.” The display was organized by the Cristo Redactor Sanctuary and the Ogilvy Brazil advertising agency. Some believers, however, did not appreciate the message, condemning it as blasphemous. This is an Insult, Jesus Saves not vaccine— N O A H!
