A former "American Idol" contestant known to viewers as the "singing garbageman" has been arrested in Alabama on domestic violence charges. Matt Weissler, a former graphic designer for the BBC, said he mocked up false bank statements after Bashir reached out to him and said he needed "some bank statements." Princess Diana's brother Charles Spencer has claimed that Bashir tricked him by showing him the false bank statements, prompting him to introduce the jou...

Joe Exotic Says He Has Prostate Cancer – TMZ

Joe says his PSA count came back very high for prostate cancer. He seems to say it's clear he has prostate cancer, because he says, "The prison has approved testing to verify what state it is in." It appears there has been no diagnosis by a doctor. Joe's lawyer, John M. Phillips, tells TMZ, Joe is scheduled to undergo further testing in prison, however, the facility is limited in what it can do. Phillips is trying to get Joe a new trial. Joe says he's riddled...

Alec Baldwin rips cancel culture: Like a forest fire in constant need of fuel – Fox News

Alec Baldwin has once again bashed cancel culture, this time comparing it to the devastation of a "forest fire." "Cancel culture is like a forest fire in constant need of fuel. Functioning objectively. No prejudice. No code. Just destroy. The deserving and the undeserving alike," the 63-year-old actor tweeted Friday. Baldwin's take was written just one day after he slammed U.S. Congress. "There appears to be a zero tolerance policy for bad behavior everywhere except where it matters most: the US Congress," he wrote on the social media platform. Inside Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles, where lines not long ago snaked for miles with people seeking coronavirus vaccines, a special seating area allows those who are fully inoculated to enjoy games side by side with other fans. When Bill Duggan reopens Madam’s Organ, his legendary blues bar in Washington, D.C., people will not be allowed in t...

Why men and women feel pain differently – The Washington Post

The discovery of anesthesia in the 19th century, however, destigmatized pain relief, and, feminist activists advocated for a protocol developed in Germany called “twilight sleep,” which involved injections of the opioid morphine and scopolamine (which induces amnesia), to help ameliorate the agony of labor. But the twilight sleep was dangerous, causing many women to become delirious, and it likely contributed to the death of one of its most vocal advocates — referred to as Mrs. Francis X. Carmody in news accounts of the day — in 1915. (The pendulum subsequently swung away from that, with more women opting for births entirely free of analgesia.)
