But surprisingly, this Karthi starrer stood number one in collections. Despite the straight film "Wild Dog"starring Nagarjuna is also released on the same day and garnered good talk, it couldn't surpass Sulthan in the first weekend collections. Sunday night was one for the record books as all four of the film awards from the Screen Actors Guild Awards went to people of color.
