New superhero recruits will be able to experience Disneyland's Avenger Campus on June 4, Disney said during a theme park webcast Thursday. The new area is an extension to Disney's California Adventure theme park in Anaheim, California and features Marvel's mightiest heroes from Earth and the stars. "What I can tell you is, it's awesome," Josh D'Amaro told CNBC ahead of the webcast. "I think it's going to be an unbelievable addition to California Adventure. The controversy surrounding Mrs Sri Lanka 2021 came to a dramatic end on Tuesday after the winner of the country’s top beauty pageant was re-crowned as the champion. A video of the 4 April event opened with the 2019 winner of the competition and reigning Mrs World, Caroline Jurie, speaking to the audience shortly after the winner and runners-up were announced in Colombo. Jurie declared that Pushpika de Silva was ineligible as the winner because she was divorced, and forcibly removed her crown. National Director of Mrs Sri Lanka World, Chandimal Jayasinghe, told the media on Tuesday the crown would be returned to De Silva after pageant organisers confirmed she was not a divorcee.

Actor James Hampton, best known as bugler Hannibal Dobbs on "F Troop," Caretaker in the original "The Longest Yard" and the father in "Teen Wolf," has died at age 84.  The Hollywood Reporter, citing a family source, revealed that Hampton died at his home in Fort Worth, Texas due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.  Born in Oklahoma City in 1936, Hampton was mostly raised in Dallas until he attended the University of North Texas and was ultimately drafted into the U.S. Army. THR reports that he was in the cavalry at Fort Knox before being sent to active duty overseas.
