Retribution Turns On Mustafa Ali At WWE Fastlane – Wrestling Inc.

RETRIBUTION is apparently no more. After weeks of tension within the group due to Mustafa Ali blaming losses on everyone else in the group, the members turned on their leader during tonight’s WWE Fastlane Kickoff pre-show. The Kickoff match saw Riddle retain his WWE United States Title over Ali. After the match, Ali began ranting at Reckoning, T-BAR, Slapjack and Mace. He directed his anger at Reckoning and asked her when she was going to carry her own weight. Ali then ordered her to get back in line but she turned and stared him down, then walked out of the ring. Slapjack followed her as Ali continued ranting and issuing warnings. Ali then turned to T-BAR and Mace to blame them for everything that has happened to the group. They then delivered the High Justice double team chokes...

Coronavirus in Oregon: State reports 224 new cases, 1 death – OregonLive

The Oregon Health Authority announced 224 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday along with one new death, bringing the state’s coronavirus death toll to 2,363. The number of new cases is fewer than the average reported in recent days, though reporting delays often result in lower case counts on weekends. Daily new-case counts have steadily declined since mid-January, when the state was regularly reporting more than 1,000 new cases daily. Sunday’s numbers come as Oregon prepares to mark one year since Gov. Kate Brown first ordered residents to stay home, shutting down some businesses and imposing restrictions on others to slow the spread of COVID-19. That set off one of most dramatic economic downturns in state history. It also exposed deep economic disparities, as some low-wage workers de...

Simpsons Creator Matt Groening Says Hes Proud of Apus Character – TMZ

The creator of "The Simpsons" appears to be suggesting that the blowback over having a white actor voice Apu for all these years really isn't all that big a deal ... in his eyes. Animator Matt Groening did an interview with USA Today in honor of the upcoming 700th episode, and he was asked about the controversy -- namely, not having an Indian actor voice the Indian character ... not to mention claims Apu was portrayed as a walking stereotype. Groening had some interesting answers ... for starters, he says he embraces bringing on new voice actors in the name of diversity -- the more the merrier, he explains. However, you can tell Matt's not nearly as up in arms as some have been about Apu's handling. He was asked if he would chan...

WWE’s Stephanie McMahon: There’s No Direct Successor When Vince McMahon Steps Down – Yahoo Entertainment

WWE without its founder, Vince McMahon, is difficult for anyone in professional wrestling to envision, but his daughter Stephanie says that when the time comes for the 75-year-old chairman to retire, the company will take a group approach to management. “I don’t think there will ever be a person-to-person replacement for Vince McMahon. He does too much. The landscape would look different however it shakes out,” Stephanie McMahon, who has been both a performer and business exec for WWE for over 20 years and currently serves as the promotion’s chief brand officer, said on the “Bloomberg Business of Sports” podcast Saturday. Fans have generally believed that Stephanie would take control along with her husband and wrestling legend Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who has spent the past several years...

Quavo Did NOT Repossess Bentley He Gifted to Saweetie Amid Split – TMZ

Exclusive Saweetie said 'Take care' -- but Quavo did NOT say "take Bentley" in response ... despite what the Internet has accepted as fact. Rumors were swirling this weekend that the Migos rapper had his now ex's luxury ride repossessed as payback for breaking up with him so publicly this past week -- but we're here to tell you definitively ... there's simply no truth to it. Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media. Sources directly connected to Quavo tell TMZ ... he didn't repo the Bentley, and anything suggesting otherwise is flat-out false. Reports surfaced Saturday that Quavo sent the Repo Man out to Saweetie's home in the wee hours of t...

A Black and White Justice League and a Regular Tenet Are Coming to HBO Max – Gizmodo

Screenshot: Warner Bros. A lot of people took four hours out of their weekends to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League on HBO Max and the streamer is betting you’re willing to do that again to watch it sans color. Also, despite Christopher Nolan’s annoyance, his timey-wimey Tenet will also be making its way to the service soon. Teased on Twitter, a black and white version of Snyder’s Justice League is “coming soon” to HBO Max. Warner Bros. is calling it “gray” but at least they teased a little clip featuring Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne and Jeremy Irons’ Alfred. Oddly enough, it involved the two discussing the color red... A black and white version of the superhero film was something the director had talked about for a while, even mentioning a version had been simply sitting on his com...

Masks and distancing could be required for several more YEARS, British public health expert says – RT

The UK may be racing ahead of its European neighbours in getting its population vaccinated, but Brits might have to stay masked up for “several years” if public health experts get their way. New cases of Covid-19 in the UK have dropped tenfold since early January, and more than 27 million Britons – over half the adult population – have had their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine. Compared to rising cases on the continent and an EU average vaccination rate of around 10%, the UK appears to be winning its war against Covid-19. Brits looking for a total reprieve from the country’s punishing lockdown, however, shouldn’t hold their breath. That’s according to Mary Ramsay, the head of immunisation at Public Health England. Ramsay told the BBC on Sunday that masks and social dis...
