Warning: This post contains spoilers from Tuesday’s Supergirl premiere. Kara, you in danger, girl. Supergirl rang in its final season premiere with twists, turns and a new threat for our Girl of Steel. Tuesday’s episode, titled “Rebirth,” saw the Super Friends defeat Gamamnae, revive a dying Brainy and reverse the harm Lex caused after using the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world into becoming devout followers. Unfortunately for the team, their victory came at a high price: Kara was sent back to the Phantom Zone because Lex is still a supremely evil guy, despite his entertaining antics. The episode wrapped with Supergirl lying on the ground unconscious as a group of Phantoms — who give the Phantom Zone its name — closed in on her. Without Supergirl’s exact l...

Local experts react to CDC news that vaccinated people dont carry virus – WRAL.com

By Kirsten Gutiérrez, WRAL reporter For months, experts were unsure if the vaccine would prevent you from spreading the virus to others. But new CDC data, out Tuesday, suggests those who are fully vaccinated won’t get sick and are unlikely to transmit the virus. “Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick and it’s not just in the clinical trials but also in real world data," CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said. Real world data that showed those who were fully vaccinated by either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine did not transmit the virus. “Before, we didn’t know for sure if it would keep you from spreading it and now we have good evidence that you will be safe ...

‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’s Wyatt Russell On Why Captain America Won’t Easily Yield The Shield – Deadline

SPOILER ALERT: This story has details about Episode 2 of Disney+’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. After learning more about U.S. Agent John Walker last Friday on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we saw that he’s a good-hearted All-American hero, who was experiencing similar doubts about filling the boots of Captain America, just like Sam Wilson weighed. In that first scene with his g.f. in his old high school locker room, Walker contemplates a ‘Why me?’ attitude about picking up the shield. He knows it’s heavy, but at the end of the day, he knows he’s got a job to do. Such a softy should be easy for Wilson to topple over, especially when it comes to getting the shield. Not so fast, according to Wyatt Russell who plays Walker. Related Story 'The Falco...

Addison Rae Addressed The Backlash Against Her TikTok Dance Segment On “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” – BuzzFeed

"Hopefully one day we can all meet up and dance together." Much of the criticism focused on the fact that the segment was a missed opportunity to properly credit Black creators for the dances that white TikTok personalities like Rae have become famous for performing. Yesterday, Rae addressed the criticism while talking to TMZ, saying that Black creators "definitely deserve all the credit because they came up with all of these amazing trends." "I think they were all credited in the original YouTube posting, but it's kinda hard to credit during the show. But they all know that I love them so much and I mean, I support all ...
