Shrimp Tails & Other Goodies Allegedly Found in Cinnamon Toast Crunch – TMZ

8:30 AM PT -- General Mills just got back to us, and it sounds like they're saying whatever Jensen discovered here did NOT happen on their watch or on their grounds. A rep for GM says ... "While we are still investigating this matter, we can say with confidence that this did not occur at our facility." They add, "We are waiting for the consumer to send us the package to investigate further. Any consumers who notice their cereal box or bag has been tampered with, such as the clear tape that was found in this case, should contact us." UPDATE: my wife has a stronger stomach than me and checked the OTHER bag in the family pack. This one seems taped up (?) and also appears to include...(I don’t even want to say it)...de...

Advertisers are fleeing David Dobrik over Vlog Squad sexual assault allegations – The Verge

David Dobrik has lost more than a dozen advertisers and 300,000 YouTube subscribers over the past week after a report detailed a rape allegation against a former member of his vlogging crew. Business Insider found that 11 brands, including HelloFresh, EA Sports, Dollar Shave Club, and Facebook say they are no longer working with him. PopCrave reports that Chipotle, which recently named a burrito after Dobrik, has dropped him. And TubeFilter reports that SeatGeek — previously one of Dobrik’s biggest advertisers, having sponsored a number of videos in which he gives away cars to friends and family — also says it does not have plans to work with him. Advertisers are fleeing Dobrik’s channel following a report in Business Insider describing a rape allegation against Dom Zeglaitis, bet...

Why Some People Are Getting COVID-19 Again – Yahoo News

Consumer Reports has no financial relationship with advertisers on this site. If you have recovered from a COVID-19 infection, probably the last thing you want is to get the virus again. And until recently, you may have thought or hoped that once you had the disease, you were protected—like you can be from, say, chickenpox. But scientists have long known that immune protection can be shorter with some viruses than others. And reports of people being reinfected with the coronavirus, along with the emergence of several variants that appear to be both more contagious and more dangerous, have sparked worry that for some people, a single bout of COVID-19 may not be their last. For people who got COVID-19 in the past year, “the question will be, ‘Will they still have immunity, and will that im...

Trial looking at mixing-and-matching different COVID vaccines could be game-changer – CBS News

Oxford, England — While most COVID-19 vaccine trial volunteers have no idea whether they're getting the real vaccine or a placebo, for the volunteers participating in a potentially paradigm-shifting new study in the U.K., there is no placebo. It's not a question of whether they've had a shot, but which one — or rather, which two.  As CBS News correspondent Charlie D'Agata reports, it's the first COVID-19 vaccine trial of its kind, and scientists say the results could revolutionize the future of vaccine distribution while also offering the most powerful weapon yet against emerging coronavirus variants. D'Agata met Reeka Trikha right as she was about to get her first injection as part of the trial. She had no idea what was about to be shot into her arm. "I'll leave it in the capable hands ...
