This afternoon just before the UCLA vs. Alabama NCAA tournament game, Dwayne Johnson unveiled the release date for his New Line/DC superhero movie Black Adam: July 29, 2022. Johnson appeared in a short spot on TBS for Black Adam, and also posted on Instagram and Twitter as well (see below) showing digital screens in NYC’s Times Square ablaze with the release date. “The Hierarchy of Power in the DC Universe is about to Change,” declared Dwayne Johnson in the TBS spot. Scholastic has pulled a book by "Captain Underpants" author Dav Pilkey that the publisher says "perpetuates passive racism."  "The Adventures of Ook and Gluk," published in 2010, served as a spinoff of sorts from his popular "Captain Underpants" children's series: The two main characters from "Underpants" are listed as the author and illustrator of the book, during which they sought to clear up "science facts" with a story about time-traveling cavemen who train at Master Wong's School of Kung-Fu.
