THE FLASH: Barry Gets A New Power In The New Promo & Photos For Season 7, Episode 2: “The Speed of Thought” – CBM (Comic Book Movie)

Almost exactly one year after production was forced to halt due to the global coronavirus outbreak, The Flash is officially back on our screens, and tonight's premiere proved to be quite an eventful hour as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team put a dangerous plan in motion in order to get the Artificial Speed Force to work, ultimately resulting in Nash (Tom Cavanagh) making the ultimate sacrifice.  Now, while things are looking grim for all the Wellses, showrunner Eric Wallace has confirmed to TV Line that Cavanagh isn't leaving the series.  "Fans of Tom Cavanagh, you should keep watching this show.’ Just because somebody’s dead doesn’t mean they don’t have plenty more to do.” Next week's installment will pick up almost immediately after the events of tonight's premiere with us lea...

Cinemark Won’t Be Playing Disney’s ‘Raya And The Last Dragon’: Here’s Why – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: The No. 3 U.S. exhibitor Cinemark will not be playing Raya and the Last Dragon this coming weekend as Disney makes the title available both in theaters and as a $30 purchase on Disney+ on March 5. As the major studios experiment widely with theatrical windows during the pandemic, Raya is a clear case that not all exhibitors will just swallow whatever is thrown at them. I hear that Cinemark isn’t the only exhibitor who isn’t booking the Don Hall-Carlos Lopez Estrada-directed feature. Harkins and Cineplex in Canada aren’t playing Raya either. Note, sometimes these negotiations can sometimes come down to the wire and titles can appear on marquees. A Cinemark movie theater in Chesapeake, VA Cinemark So, wait, what happened here? Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall recall hiring Louie Anderson after forced to cast White star in Coming to America – Fox News

Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall are looking back on filming "Coming to America." Ahead of the release of the famed comedy's sequel "Coming 2 America," the duo appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and revealed that Paramount had a demand when it came to the movie's casting. Hall, 65, revealed that the studio made them cast a White actor to play the character of Maurice -- who was played by Louie Anderson. "I love Louie, but I think we were forced to put Louie in it," recalled the actor. "We were forced to put [in] a White person." Illinois smokers now prioritized for the coronavirus vaccine – Chicago Sun-Times

Illinois smokers are now among the priority groups eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. As a part of the state’s vaccination schedule, residents with certain high-risk medical conditions — including smoking — are now able to get shots, along with seniors and medical and essential workers. The move to Phase 1B+ went into effect Feb. 25. The expansion was done in order to “advance the state’s goal of equitable distribution” to communities of color, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health website. According to the Centers for Disease Control, being a “current or former cigarette smoker” puts you at greater risk for severe COVID-19 illness. CDC statistics show that 21% of Native Americans smoke, the highest level among demographic groups. Whites are next at 15.5%, f...

This story sucks – Cageside Seats

Look, I get it that Vince McMahon has long said that WWE isn’t really professional wrestling but rather a sports entertainment companies who don’t promote wrestling matches so much as “make movies” with their television programming. And because the company has prestige, and money, and has more or less buried all its competition throughout its history, we just sort of have to deal with how Vince likes to do things. But this shit is ridiculous. Look at this: I’m fine being the old man yelling at clouds here, but what the hell is this nonsense? What, there are two Randy Orton’s? Or did Bray Wyatt’s spirit, I guess because he’s dead after Orton murdered him on a show by burning him alive and faced no repercussions for it, possess Orton at an earlier time and record a video to air...

Jennette McCurdy Reveals Why She Quit Acting: ‘I Resent My Career’ – Variety

Jennette McCurdy revealed on the Season 2 premiere of her podcast, “Empty Inside,” why she’s done with acting. “I resent my career in a lot of ways,” she said. “I feel so unfulfilled by the roles that I played and felt like it was the most just cheesy, embarrassing… I imagine there’s a very different experience to be had with acting if you’re proud of your roles.” The former Nickelodeon star opened up on the Feb. 24 episode of “Empty Inside,” which featured guest Anna Faris. Their discussion spanned the inauthenticity of talk shows, rejection and early acting gigs. Faris reflected on industry difficulties, but eventually concluded she was starting to feel the acting “itch” again. She asked if McCurdy has ever felt rewarded by a character she played. “I’m so ashamed of...

CDC to announce Americans with COVID vaccine can gather indoors without masks: report – Fox News

The CDC will announce new guidelines as soon as this Thursday on what fully vaccinated Americans can do, including allowing for small gatherings indoors with other vaccinated individuals, Politico reports.  Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden's chief medical adviser, previewed the roadmap back to somewhat normal life Monday.  "I use the example of a daughter coming in from out of town who is doubly vaccinated, and a husband and wife doubly vaccinated, and maybe a next door neighbor, who you know are doubly vaccinated," Dr. Fauci said at a White House COVID-19 Task Force press conference Monday. "Small gatherings in the home of people, I think you can clearly feel that the risk, the relative risk, is so low that you would not have to wear a mask, that you could have a good social gather...
